IoT / Industrial Smart Watch

I developed a wearable IoT device for bi-directional communication with machines and robots on the production line. The main goal is to receive instant messages from robots and machines to address issues immediately, avoiding delays. The device, worn on the wrist, features an ESP32 screen, LiPo batteries, tags, a vibration motor, and ESD straps. All 3D designs were created and printed in-house. I also designed a sheet metal charging cabinet with two shelves, a charging station, and 16 watch holders. A Raspberry Pi with a screen and NFC reader allows users to assign watches by swiping their ID cards. Five background services manage messaging, assignments, and more, using Python for the Raspberry Pi software and C# for the background services
